Pastor Dan and Kim have been in the ministry since January of 1983.  They pastored in Xenia, Ohio, from 1983 - 1994.  They began pastoring here in Columbus in May of 1995.  They are both originally from Columbus, and felt God wanted them to come back home.  They began meeting in a hotel ballroom, moved into a space in a shopping mall, then God blessed them with our former building in December of 2000.  When they moved into that new facility, God said He would beautify both the building and our hearts at the same time.  Remarkably, both things have been done, and it was time to move on and embrace change.  We purchased our newest building in March of 2017 and began the remodel project.  We held the first service in our new facility September 3rd of 2017.

Pastor Dan is a 1982 graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.  This school began in 1975, founded by Kenneth Hagin.  Pastor Dan is still involved with this ministry.  He is ordained through Rhema Ministerial Association, and Columbus City Church is an affiliate church with Rhema Bible Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.  That is very important to Pastor Dan and Kim because it gives the church a proactive connection.  Rhema Ministries and Kenneth Hagin Ministries are ministries of high quality and ministerial ethics that help Columbus City Church maintain the highest level of integrity.
